Life in "The Natural State"

Our time spent in Arkansas so far has been a lot more fun than I expected. I think Joseph and I both feel that way, although we do have very different perspectives. He works knocking doors most of the day, and I . . . I try to find things to keep me busy (I have applied for a few jobs and am waiting to hear back).
My first week here I got to go to a beautiful place called Garven Gardens and see all of the beautiful plants and flowers that they have there.
If you cant tell, I am behind the waterfall
Well, Joseph was out knocking and came across a door with a sign. I found it hilarious! Notice how the door is a little ghetto. . .

They even whited out their "e" from Dam :)

The Following week I went to the zoo with some of the wives and the babies. We saw lots of animals and had a really fun day.

Me, Ashley, and Chelsea

While Joseph was out for the day, he found tons of mini frogs, they were so cute!

It is different than Utah, and we miss all our Family and Friends, but we are doing well and hope you are too. Joseph got 2 yesterday and is hoping to do well for the rest of the week because they are starting up the seeding for "The Madness". They make their own brackets and have you compete with guys in your region, I will try to keep you all updated.

And last but not least, I believe this lovely street sign was found earlier this week. We love ARkaNsAs!

It is Costa Day!

I wanted to congratulate my brothers and my dad on their 2nd restaurant opening today. They are such hard workers and I love them so much! My brothers have sacrificed their time and time with their families to make these restaurants as great as they are. I am sad I am not there to help, but here is my support! Everyone who visits Arizona needs to stop by and have the best food you will find :)
Dano
And Brad

And with out my dad, none of this would be possible. Congratulations Boys! We love you and hope you kill it!

P.S. Joseph had his best week last week, 10! It is going to be a good Summer in Arkansas.

My Model Husband

Most of you know of the Photographer that took our Engagements. I find him very talented and love his work, so of course I have a link to his blog on our blog.
Anyway, when I first asked my sister in law if she thought he would do our engagements she made it clear that he has a few rules, He doesn't do weddings or ugly people. Luckily he agreed to take our pictures after I had sent him an email with a few pictures of us ha ha.
The whole reason I am telling you all this is because he has taken millions of photos, of so many people and randomly one day my same sister in law, Katie, told me to look at his website. What did I see?
Joseph and his dimples on his main page! It was pretty funny, so I thought I would share.

Once Again . . .

I forgot to mention that I didn't make it into the St. George Marathon. I hate that it is a lottery pick :( I was actually pretty sad about it because I figured I would have a good amount of time to train.
It would be hard without my mom to run with, but since this has been our 2nd time in a row not making it, we get in next year automatically.
My dad says he is going to try to start preparing for it so maybe he can do it too. There are 2 other spots if we sign up as a group. Any other takers??

ArKaNsAs

We are Now together in Arkansas! I just arrived in Arkansas Friday night and suprised Joseph. I wasn't scheduled to be out here until the 16th, which would have made it 3 weeks of separation instead of 2. There was a change of plan with Costa's opening date, so I decided to surprise Joseph and arrive a week early.
So, Chelsea and Eric picked me up from the Airport around 10:30 and kept it a secret from everyone. On our way home we planned out the surprise. We got to the apartments and put a paper on his car which was a "ticket". Then Eric knocked on his door and told him to go and check his car and he luckily left the door open. I snuck into his apartment and when he came back he was accusing Chelsea and Eric of something. Apparently they had Chelsea hide in a suit case and had Joseph come over and they scared him. They have it all recorded, it is pretty funny ha ha. Anyway, he finally turned the corner and saw me ha ha. It was a lot of fun! This is a picture chels took of us right after. Arkansas is really green and not as humid as I expected. We have pretty nice apartments and are right next door to Chelsea and Eric. The boys leave for their meeting at 12pm everyday and then start knocking around 1:30. We see them around 8-8:30pm when they are tired and hungry. I am going to try to get a part time job to keep me a little occupied. I have been researching Chiropractic offices around here, hopefully one office will need a little extra help this summer. Things are great here, we miss and love all of our Friends and Family back home!

Pre-Summer Sales

As you all know we have been a little busy this month with things. School, finals, finishing up our home, moving out of our apartment, packing up for Arkansas. . . It was all very overwhelming. Don't worry about it though, when things get stressful like this, Joseph knows just what to do.
How did you guess it? Of course, we went Dirt biking.

The day before Joseph was leaving we spent almost all day riding beautiful trails with our cute buddy Sandro.
Joseph was going to surprise me, but he knew I was making tons of plans in preparation for his departure, so he just told me the plan. I was glad he had one more fun day before another summer full of knocking. The hard part was, it left a lot to do after he was gone. So this is where I thank the Family that I have, the Daytons and VanCotts. I really don't know if I would have stayed sane without the help from my mom. I love her so much and hope to be as helpful and loving to my own children as she has been with hers. Happy Mothers Day everyone!
