Conference

So I am way behind in blogging because I have been busy with a few things, finals coming up, getting the house painted and ready, and packing Joseph up. Joseph left this morning so I have extra time, honestly I just don't feel like studying for finals right now :)

Thanks to Racheal Curley we got to go up to the last session.
We loved the Free Hugs ProtestersAfter Conference we went and spent a good long time at the VanCotts because we were heading to Arizona later that week. It was a lot of fun because it had been a warm day and the kids were running around the house and playing outside. It is always eventful at the VanCotts!

Kyle, Eli, and Jameson
I love this video! No one else can do a summer-salt like Kaitlyn!

Liz was trying out new colors and nail polish designs out on all of the girls. I convinced Kyle, Eli, and Jameson that it was way cool to do, so they let me paint their nails too.

Our Arizona Easter post is coming soon!

April Begins!

The First part of April was pretty packed with things.
Eric and Chelsea's wedding, Wonderful Conference, and Time with our Family here and Arizona! I will start with the wedding and post more later.

April 3rd

The morning started with a brunch where we had yummy breakfast and watched their cute wedding video.

Then we all made our way to the Draper temple, I love their sealing room. We then waited outside in the cold blizzard for the couple to come out so we could all congratulate them.
What made it so cold was the stupid wind from the mountain, Luckily I had my umbrella.
So after 30 Minutes went by we got a little impatient.
Married

Before we left to get ready for the reception we took a few more pictures

My Favorite Picture ha ha, thanks JackTime for the reception!Their reception was in the Provo Court house, it was really pretty. All the Guys all dressed upEngaged Anthony and NaomiPregnant Ashley and JakeTheir First Dance

10:05pm and they are leaving, it was a long and fun reception.
We were all starving considering we hadn't eaten since the brunch so we made our way to Five Guys and Fries.
A good and long day for everyone

Our House . . .

We bought a home! We luckily were able to work on the home before we purchased it so I am going to post some befores and afters. Above is a picture of our front yard and home, which will need a lot of work.

If you walk in upstairs you walk into the living room, we wont be painting the walls in this room, but we will be changing the color of the gold fireplace. If you are interested in the couches, you can have them!

Then you can walk straight into the kitchen or left down the halls to the 3 bedrooms and bath.

Now we continue to my beautiful Ivy bathroom! (Luckily it is stencil, not wallpaper.)
The closets in every room are huge and the rooms are much larger than they look in these pictures.

Now for room #2 with pink walls and Clouds on the Ceiling. I am not sure what Dad and Joseph are doing.

Room #3 (Master) With an alternate view to see how the second bath goes through to the kitchen.

The Yellow Bathroom! If you love this color let me know, there are 2 more gallons of it under the sink right now :)

So before you reach the kitchen there are the stairs to the basement. It is now locked off because we have renters living there as of Sunday, and we closed on the home on Thursday.
First Here is the Kitchen in all its beauty!

The red drapes will be Brad's early birthday gift when we come down next week :) You can put them up in your bedroom Cynthia, I know Sophia will LOVE them.

The sliding doors the don't work lead to our huge backyard. You can see in the Drapes picture the shed on the other side of our fence, that is actually our land too. Mom and dad are way excited because they will be planting a garden this summer!

Here is mom hard at work on the wall paper leading to the basement, I have never seen anything like it.

So the basement has 2 large bedrooms and one bathroom. One of the bedrooms was a garage which was converted into a second bedroom.

The Kitchen, I must admit, is nicer than mine upstairs.

And the after of the Kitchen isn't too big of a change, just paint.

So here is a picture of the bedroom that used to be the garage. You can see the door to it in the kitchen picture above. We didn't any work to this room because it had a new paint job, and carpets.

Now The Bathroom has a tub and a shower, and it was pretty bad.

Before and AFTER

Room #2

The carpets were in pretty good condition so we got them cleaned and they looked great.

Now for the Living Room, the Before and then the process of the, "no more lava rock" project.

Joseph loved using the sprayer!

The AFTER

So that is our basement, we have it rented out to a couple with a 2 year old and everything is going great with the upstairs. Our plan is to get it all ready for us to store our things while we are gone this summer and have our 3 friends pay to live there while we are gone. We have about 3 until Joseph leaves and 4 until I join him. I can't wait to show you all the results. And thanks to everyone who has helped so far, especially my wonderfully hard working mom!

Psych!

I know I claimed we were going to Dayton Beach Florida for the summer, but I was wrong. We have joined offices with Joseph's Manager from last year and will now be headed to the Natural State! Little Rock Arkansas :) You should be very excited for us ha ha.
I was excited for the beaches and the Cuban food, but I haven't ever been to Arkansas, so maybe it will still be fun! When I told grandma she said, "Oh Olivia, I have driven through Arkansas, and i will tell you, It smells like S#%*. The story goes on for another 4 swear words, but I will keep it clean. It will be a new experience this summer!
